Adviser: Prof. Fred Lange
Department: Materials

Project: Explain observed increased conductivity when ceramic particles (SiO2) is placed in MeOH with LiClO4 salt in it.

Description of lab work: My regular day involved: making slurries, measuring zeta potential at different pHs, conductivity and measuring viscosity with rheometer.

  Day 1: Questbords
   Day 2: Conductors and Insulators
   Day 3 : Static Electricity

We taught 4th graders basics about electricity. It has been wonderful experience to see kids having fun with science.
